What is salvation? plz explain

I beleive that reaching God, or complete happiness, and also complete peace in Hindusim. But, what is salvation? in any other religion? If you know please explain.

How do anyone know?, Why, he or she born in this body in this world? Any evidence from Vedas?

Actually it means more ... well if u ask me ,

 

Realisng that you are not the body and you are a part of paramathma , THe ultimate realisation is known as Salvaation. When you realise that you will go back to home. We all know it , only very few realise it !
