Guest guest Report post Posted April 13, 2003 this is for those who still think that God has a split personality. for those who have accepted polytheism as their vision of the one supreme absolute truth. Bhaktivinode has stated as i have shown that god is in fact a single energy, when she engages in spiritual activities she is called Radhika, when engaged in activities for the material realm that same one energy or person is called visnu maya. there are those who would disagree and insist that both Radhika and Krishna are that one energy,in two , mysteriously. They disagree with statements from authorized sources that claim Radha and Krishna are identical,no difference,the same, etc. they promote a philosophy that Radha and Krishna are not identical,that they are not non different, instead they claim for some reason that Radha is one AND different from Krishna, not identical, but distinct, not the same but seperate. I have shown where Srila Prabhupada has written that sakti and saktiman are non different, that the possesser of the energy is non different from the energy,both are the same, God is the energy and the controller of the energy. they disagree, they state that sakti and saktiman,are distinct personalities, distinct energies,at the same time one . Srila Prabhupada says they are identical, they disagree, and say i am concocting. Srila Prabhupada writes that Radha and Krishna pastimes "are the display of the internal pleasure potency of Krishna" Radhika is the internal pleasure potency, the hladini sakti, Prabhupada states the Radha and Krishna's pastimes are Her display. she is displaying those pastimes. Radha and Krishna are not displaying those pastimes,it is Radha who is displaying those pastimes. Why is that important you ask . If it was not important Prabhupada would not have mentioned it. It is important to understand the concept behind the words, simply understanding the words is insuffecient. God is not dualistic,Like Bhaktivinode has told us ,God is one energy,one potency, one person. when that person is engaged in spirtual pleasure activites she is called radhika, not Radha and Krishna. SHE is displaying Radha Krishna lila, SHE is the one supreme person when that person is engaged in pleasure pursuits. Krishna is identical with Her,not one and different as the mental speculators insist, "there is not a whit of difference between them" says Sada Siva to sage Narada. the mental speculators insist that this is wrong, they believe that god has a split personality, Radha and Krishna, two persons in one, mysteriously so, not understandable they insist. Well they certainly do not understand, god is a single substance,one potency, one person,when Radha Krisna lila is displayed we are told by Prabhupada, that is Radha's doing, she alone, She is Krishna we are told by Prabhupada, sakti and saktiman are one person he tells us. the speculators cannot concieve of this ,and reject this and claim that they do not reject it at the same time. when I tell them that rasa lila is a display put on by Radha, they reject that. what more can i say ?
