Coyote Posted February 9, 2003 Report Share Posted February 9, 2003 Ghee 'oozes' out of Kalki photo TIMES NEWS NETWORK[ MONDAY, NOVEMBER 25, 2002 12:43:24 AM ] CHIKMAGALUR: Thousands thronged the house of a Kalki Bhagavan devotee to witness a 'miracle' — drops of ghee oozing out of the portrait of the Bhagavan. Chandrashekar and his wife Sheela, residents of Vijayapura, claimed that ghee began trickling out of the photograph on Saturday morning. News spread like wild fire and hundreds of people rushed to the house to see the miracle. When their number grew uncontrollable, the police intervened to regulate the mob. When The Times of India paid a visit, and asked the inmates wipe out the ghee to see how fresh ghee begins to ooze out, the devotees refused. Instead, they claimed that ghee and honey oozing out of the photograph, and kumkum falling from it were common happenings. Some youths gathered at the house began raising suspicions about the incident, and questioned its veracity.
