Gauracandra
I pulled my shoulder blade muscles real bad (twisted my back somehow and all the muscles suddenly contracted). Now its like I have a charliehorse in my left shoulder blade all knotted up. If I so much as breath deeply the expanding of my chest causes tremendous pain in my back. Any ideas to fix it? I figure I just have to wait it out, not much I can do.
theist
Gauracandra, Something to try. Slowly and carefully. Stand facing a doorway. With your left arm grab the opposite side of the doorway from the other side.(inside) The right side of the doorway as you face it from the opposite side. It's important that you grab the door with your thumb up. Start with keeping your arm level to your shoulder height. Hold on and slowly twist your torso to the left. You can experiment with bending a little to change the angle. Go slow. Breath and relax into the stretch. Good luck
atma
You should try to get Moov, from an Indian Store. I swear for it. It's really good for muscular pains. I used it in India and I was delighted when I saw it in my local Indian grocery store. If you don't live near one just get some local ointment or put heat on the shoulder blade. A little massage may help.
Gauracandra
Thanks for the advice Theist & Atma. I done the stretching exercise (I'm pretty sure I got it right), and even managed to get that moov stuff. So we'll see how it is by tomorrow.
