Company sells 'tickets to heaven'

 

A California-based company is selling tickets to heaven.

 

Ticket to Heaven Inc will send you a ticket with your name on it, along with a so-called certificate of authenticity and a wallet-sized testimonial card.

 

The ticket costs $15, plus a $4.95 shipping and handling fee - which means the total cost is around £12.68.

 

No faith commitment is required. As far as the company is concerned, buyers are pledging to be true to their own faith.

 

The company's website includes a disclaimer that absolves the company of any responsibility to actually get you to heaven.

 

It "makes no warranties or representations" as to whether there really is a heaven, what it's like or how long it lasts.
