Gauracandra 1 Report post Posted October 31, 2002 Heres a great recipe I tried out recently. Its real simple. Cut up chunks of Romano Tomatoes Pour in Virgin Olive Oil into a pan (lots) and dump the tomato chunks into it. Put in a pinch of salt and sugar, and throw in a handful of chopped basil. Cook these all down for like 20 minutes (cook until completely smooth). Boil your pasta (I found the tube pastas to be best). When ready, just pour the tomato sauce in, and add lots of shredded parmesan cheese. This recipe is real simple but tastes great. Believe me, if I can make it, any one can. Guest guest Report post Posted November 1, 2002 if your going to use olive oil,it's best to put the oil in after cooking, high heat makes olive oil lose it's flavor.
