atma 0 Report post Posted April 27, 2002 I just finished watching "Monsoon Wedding" and I really like it. Made me laugh and made me cry. Some of the characters remind me friends that I met in India and I miss them a lot. Even the 'pandal-wallah' reminded me of somebody, what to say of the girl who was abused, two very dear friends were abused by relatives and in their cases nobody did anything about it. theist 1 Report post Posted April 27, 2002 I see movies.Monsoon Wedding was a rather light film compared to all the dark energy stuff that that is out there.For me it was a little glimpse into what I suspect is more present day India vs.the image I have built up into my mind from reading old texts about the Vedic age.
