Never speak harsh words, let not bitter words escape your lips any time, keep them far away. Recognize your own inherent power that may cause to infuse in you all the virtues of the universe. Let the pure joy embrace you in its fold of intense love forever.

Behave with others as you would with yourself. All are part of that universal soul. Persons who love all never feel lonely. The divine qualities of forgiveness, compassion and service will make him lovable in the eyes of all. He will experience intense joy through out his life.

Find the eternal object of your quest with in your soul. You are searching for ages in ignorance and groping in helplessness. At last when you find the object of the search with in your heart, your inner vision is illuminated in this new realization.

Rama! You are the life of life ,the soul of soul, and the joy of joy. Those who like to be in their home away from you, are under the influence of an adverse fate.

No one can speedily know this secret (BHAKTHI is the fountain of all blessings) of Sri RAMA but who ever comes to know it by HIS grace ,can never fall a prey to infatuation even in a dream.

"O" men , abandon your varied activities, sins and diverse creeds, which all give birth to sorrow, and with genuine faith "says Tulsidas." be devoted to the feet of RAMA.

Bowing my head to all I lay open my terrible distress before you .Unless I behold RAMA's feet the agony of my soul shall not go.

Blessed is the family ,worthy of adoration for the whole world and most hallowed too, in which is born a humble devotee of the illustrious RAMA.

HE who seeks devotion to the feet of RAMA or to enjoy the state of eternal bliss should fondly drink in this story with the cups of his ears.

There can be no happiness for a creature nor can its mind know any peace even in a dream so long as it does not relinquish desire, which is an abode of sorrow, and adore RAMA.

Having heard of your fair renown I have come to you with the belief that my LORD dissipates the fear of rebirth . Save me, save me ,"O" RAMA, reliever of distress, delighter of those who take refuge in YOU.

God is supremely compassionate and loving by nature. He can not bear the sight of others suffering and none can equal HIM. God is so benign and kind hearted. He who comes to realise the kind heartedness of God becomes kind hearted himself. He who sees God in all beings never loses HIS sight. Liberation is brought about by self-realization. The Vedas have prescribed various methods for attaining it; such as disinterested action, meditation and knowledge of self act; which can be practiced at all times by all. Salvation is not something impossible to achieve in the present age

Rama the divine hero of this epic is the ideal man, the man parexellence of Hindus. He is the Maryada-purushottama. He had all the virtues which make a man perfect. He is an ideal son, ideal brother, an ideal husband and an ideal friend. He is perfect in every way. He loved His brothers as His own self. On the eve of His coronation to the throne of Ayodya, He missed His brothers Bharata and Satrugna, who were away with their mothers parents. He feels disturbed at the news of His coronation. The very thought that He should rule the kingdom and His brothers should serve Him is revolting to Him. That is why when mother Kaikeyi tells Him in the presence of His father about the two boons she had asked him, He welcomes the idea rather than perturbed over it. He thus demonstrates to the world that one should neither rejoice nor recoil over favorable or unfavorable things. A mere hint from His step mother is enough for Him to give up His rightful claim for the throne. Instead of resenting the behavior of Kaikeyi who is instrumental in sending Him to exile, He rejoices over the prospect of meeting the sages in the forest and happy to carry the order of His father and wishes of His stepmother. He feels happy to think that the throne will go to Bharata who is dearer to Him than His own life. He takes it as a piece of good luck and proceeds to forest with out seeking any confirmation from His father. In this way He has discharged His obligation not only to His parents but also to His brother proving Himself an ideal son and an ideal brother.

Sabari geedha susevakani sugati dheenhi Raghunath

Naama udhare amitha khala bedha bidhita guna gaath

Rama conferred immortality only on faithful servants like Sabari(the celebrated Bhila woman) & vulture (Jatayu), while His name has delivered innumerable wretches; the tale of Its virtues is well known in Vedas.

Pulaka batika baga bana sukha subihanga biharu

Maali sumana saneha jala seenchata lochana charu.

The thrill of joy that one experiences while listening to narrative represents the flower of gardens, orchards & groves; & the delight one feels is the sporting of birds;a noble mind is the gardener, who waters the garden etc with the moisture of love through the charming jars of eyes.

Jo sraddha sambala rahita nahi santhanha kar saath

Thinha kahu maanasa agama athi jinhahi na priya Raghunath.

The Maanasa is most inaccessible to those who lack provisions for the journey in the shape of peity(daya), who do not enjoy the company of saints & who have no love for the Lord of Raghus.

Sri Rama the slayer of Trisira will grant all the desires of those men & women who listen to Sri Rama's praises, the remedy for the disease of transmigration. Listen to the praises of Sri Rama, who possesses a form as dark as blue lotus, who by His elegance extinguishes millions of cupids & whose Name is a veritable flower for birds in the shape of sins.

The five basic Truths of Divine wisdom are The Supreme, the individual self, the means, the goal, & the barriers. The Ramayana is the authoritative exposition of these Truths. Rama is the Supreme Brahman. Lakshmana is ideal jivatma(individual self). The instances of the surrender illustrate the nature of means. Service to Lord is the Goal & Ravana & his kin represent the barriers.

The significance of Rama accompanying Vishvamitra:

Vishva- world; Mitra- friend. Those who are friend to the entire world will be accopanied by God.

Rama required to build a bridge to cross the see to go to Lanka where as Hanuman crossed the same sea with Rama Nama. See the greatness of His Name.

Had Dasarata celebrated Rama's coronation function the same day he took the decision , instead of postponing it to next day, Kaikeyi would not have had a chance to ask Rama to go to forest for 14 years. That could be the reason for Vivekananda's saying " Never postpone to tomorrow what you can do today"!

The praises of SriRama destroy the impurities of the Kali age. They subdue the mind & are a source of delight. Rama is pleased with those who listen to them with faith & reverence. This age of Kali is storehouse of sins. Daya, spiritual wisdom, yoga or japa are out of place in this age. They alone are wise who worship Rama giving up all other hopes.
