Guest guest
Hello. I have no teaching at all in the Hindu faith. How may I know more about the study of the Vedas? Where does one start? Thank you. maria
Pankaja_Dasa
Hinduisum is really vast like the ocean. It has many sects and sub-sects. Islam as 72 known [or more] affliliate sects. Which practice. Same as in Christian religion. So you have to do lot of digging around until you find what you need. The best place to start in understanding is I would recommened the Bhagavad-gita. Which is made up of 700 verses. It is part of the Upanishads [there are 1008]. You can read it by clicking my signature link at the bottam. This book was translated by a devotee in the Bhagavata Parampara- meaning a disicple in the same disicplic sucession from where the book was originally spoken. The same link. So the knowledge and the tranlsations are exactly the same, without any tinge of difference. I hope you get a taste for reading it as I have:).
