Guest guest
Nobody knows when, but they were Self-realized through their tapas, and wrote what they directly experienced in the Vedas. There is only speculation about when the Vedas were originally conceived.
Guest guest
The Rigveda is the work of ten gifted families of thinkers, writers and poets and their descendants. Its oldest parts have been dated to about 4,000 BCE. For more, please read the following book by Shrikant Talageri. It is a scholarly work. The Rigveda: A historical Analysis is a book by Shrikant G. Guest guest
can anyone help me who worte vedas and when ? --- Veda is the knowledge. All the spiritual knowledge, sciences like Ayurveda, Jyotisham etc are all its parts. In Rig-Veda, the most ancient, different hymns of various authors are found.Hence it is evident that some great person integrated all those knowledge, science etc and made it into four Vedas. Hindu puranas say that great person was Veda Vyasa, an incarnate. Vedas are not poems nor novels nor story-books. They are rich in their hidden knowledge and its encoded mantras, which are very powerful. Did you know, those powerful mantras are to be kept away from reach of demonic people because they may use them for destruction. Some chants could even take lives from a body. That is why Manu restricted that Vedas should never be heard by mlechas
