Guest guest
Hare Krishna, Interesting programme I'm sure all will enjoy. SATURDAY 26 NOVEMBER (and second part next saturday same time) Religion Preachers to Be 7:10pm - 8:10pm Channel 4 It's surprising to learn that in our increasingly materialistic world, a growing number of people want to become a Church of England vicar. And yet every year hundreds of believers commit themselves to their God - in a variety of religions. This two-part documentary follows a handful of them on their quest to become a spiritual leader. Among them is Paul, a former chemistry student who was on a "bit of a hippy trip" before shaving his head and becoming a Hindu Brahman. Then there's Malik, an Oxford theological student who works as a trainee imam in an east London mosque and has reassuring words about the true meaning of Islam; and Aileen, a 46-year-old Christian with an unsettled past but an evangelical approach to her faith. Your aspiring servant.

Going by his name he is a western convert. I wonder if he changed his life and became a 'proper' Brahmin who lives the Brahmin life or if he just learnt some Hindu rituals to get the title of Brahmin.
