Guest guest
Vivekananda gave his famous "Brothers and Sisters" speech at World . of Religion in 1893. You can hear it in audio format by visiting The Universal Wisdom . You can listen to his welcome speech, as well as a great Paper on Hinduism. Some people have commented that this is not swamji's voice, but rather the speeches were read by someone. This appears to be the truth. But let's not get into this and instead focus on the message of Swami Vivekananda. Admin@TUW
Guest guest
Swami Abhedananda's voice is the only true vocal recording which is present of the monastic disciples of Sri Ramakrishna. It is so unfortunate that the Parliment of religions which heralded the brave Hindu Monk take on the world and prove the greatness of Sanatana Dharma didnt have any authentic audio recording of the great saint. He is famed to have said " I am a voice without form" Where there is perfect harmony either within religion like shaivism or vaishnavism, duality and non duality or islam or christianity, where every ones path is respected and one's own followed with devotional vigour, there Swamiji's voice is the most audible. For he was LOVE personified.
HariOmTatSat100
Are the audio recordings at Welcome Address - Vivekananda : Swami Vivekananda : Free Download & Streaming : Internet Archive not true recordings by Swami Vivekananda, 1893, Chicago? What is the evidence for saying so? The voice is very melodious, forceful and distinct, and it has no US accent. There is an applause. It seems real to me.
