Guest guest
Your wife is bedridden because your son doesn't want to be a Hindu? No wonder your son wants to convert! Please use some common sense here. If your son loves Jesus and wishes to become a Christian, instead of isolating him and making him hate and distrust you, why not try to get involved in his interest and use what you know about the meaning of your religion to steer him in the right direction? Believe it or not, there is such a thing as a good Christian (just like there's such a thing as a bad Hindu). Your son converting isn't the end of the world. Guest guest
Try lalitha sahasranama and play it loud, or something else which you like to chant. Chant more, understand scriptures. Ask your wife to stop playing the victim-game, and you trying to dramatize it. Children are smart to read through it anyways. And minimise rituals, astrology, reasoning, and attempting to reason mysterious behaviour. All these are no actions. These are not even hindusim. Chanting is good to do, and it's a hindu path.
