Sephiroth Posted July 20, 2005 Report Share Posted July 20, 2005 I was watching a National Geography programme (crooked as it may) which features Ayurveda. According to that show, it seems that Ayurveda descripted such illness as imbalance of chemicals in the body, which bring forth illusions and hallucinations. Funny thing is ... it is as accurate as Modern Science in describing the illness nowadays. But with one difference in between them. Modern (so-called Science) describe various (and sometimes worsening) chemicals to promote balance while Ayurveda describe proper food and exercise to promote balance.
