Guest guest Report post Posted July 19, 2005 I have been researching the internet to find the written form of Ananda. In doing so I am now fasinated by the ways in which I find it written in sanskrit and am curious of how this works. Is there different sanskrit alaphabets? आनंद आनन्द are the two ways I have found. The second letter of the second version I have found on every site and is described as sounding out "na" But nowhere else do I find a character in the Sanskrit alphabet that spells out "n" or "na" ie the 3rd letter in the second version and the second letter in the first version.
