Namaste everyone, I have a few questions that i need you answers for.

1) If iam a non-vegetarian does that mean iam commiting sins ? Therefore i will be reincarnated again because of my lust for non-vegs ?

2) Isnt plants considred to be a life form, they also belong to the earth as much as any animal or human belongs. So people who eats vegitable are also commiting sins, if my first question is true ?

3) All carnivarous animals eat only meat, does that mean they are commiting sin, and how will they be reincarnated to a higher lifeform (In Shiva Puran it states that we start from a lowest life form and reincarnate to higher lifeforms based on our sins - After human we become Deva's)

4) Did the Pandavas or other Kshastrayas eat meat ? If they did how come they went to heaven ?

Thank you everyone,

Namaste

••if we are notrealized we are sinners.. but yes, killing animals is a huge sin

Therefore i will be reincarnated again because of my lust for non-vegs ?

••again, if we are not realized we have to take a new birth. If we kill an animal to eat him, we have to take a new birth to be killed by this animal to balance the karma

Isnt plants considred to be a life form, they also belong to the earth as much as any animal or human belongs. So people who eats vegitable are also commiting sins, if my first question is true ?

••if we kill we have to suffer in future but vegetals are less close to obtain a human form in the immediate future. The human body is meant to reach spiritual realization, so it is very sinful to interrupt and delay the evolution of an animal who would have obtain it very soon... sooner than a plant.

But neverthless even eating plants generates karma. So we have to become vegetarians to situate ourselves in a higher level of non violence and peace, then we have to follow a dharmic path and we have to learn how to offer our food to God before eating it.

In this way the sin will end

All carnivarous animals eat only meat, does that mean they are commiting sin

••no .. an animal cannot decide,he has no morality. Animals and plants evolve in higher life forms authomatically until they reach the human one.. For humans evolution is based on actions and decisions

Did the Pandavas or other Kshastrayas eat meat ?

••yes, occasionally they ate .. also shiva drunk and ocean of poison.. if you can be heroic and devotee to krsna like pandavas and supremely powerful as shiva you can eat meat and drink oceans of poison

in kali yuga everyone's shudra... there's no shortage of wars so there's no need that you eat meat to become a ksatrya.

There's lack of brahminic, peaceful, clean people to make a more happy and peaceful world

please be a brahminic man and save the world,be vegetarian and before offer sicerely your food to god to avoid to make even little sins

prabhupada thought refraining from meat was important because of the ideal of ahimsa, that a person should not kill. however for me personally, krishna never had a law against meat. he simply stated satvic foods are better, tamasic foods make one feel ill and hinder the body. one shouldnt slaughter animals, but do you think eating an animal that is already slaughtered is helping God's cause? if we cared so much for the animal, then make an effort to shut down the ranches that line up cows and murder them by pummeling their skulls with a hammer and putting their hanks into burgers.

this cultural expression of vegetarianism i feel only partially to do with scripture. simply because we hold the cow in high esteem due to its agricultural heritage doesnt mean that meat eating is necessarily wrong.

as for ahimsa, the law states that creatures of higher conscious have greater ability to feel pain via the senses. a plant has no senses, simply containing matter and atman, therefore it is best to eat plants because of it, or plants are satvic foods.

my personal belief is that if a person is going to go to the effort of panicking and being paranoid about the meat he has eaten, then that same person should devote the same effort and understanding to the reasons behind why he must not eat meat. perhaps if we understood what scripture says, we would place more importance in destroying our own ignorance rather than taking the easy way out by changing our own diets first as an act of liberation. your diet is not going to send you to God or cause you to be reborn, it is your intent. purify your mind by seeking God. after that is done, your concept of what is correct food will come by itself.

in this debate it's better if we didn't eat at all... ^^;; The Veg diet is healtier than a Non-Veg one is. But I do not think being a Non-Veg is a sin. Everything is God so we have to eat unless we are spiritually enpowered... which most of us are not. So vegetables and animals are the smae besides the fact that animals are closer to making their own decisions than plants are.
