Guest guest
I was looking through a site recently given by another poster. I came across this quote about 'Gnostic Christianity' - whatever that is. What is this all about? They said that jesus talked about karma, reincarnation, self-realisation, etc. Is this true? Or do they like Hindu ideas they are trying to absord them in Christianity. Someone told me that before Christianity the west believed in karma, reincarnation, etc, but the church supressed this. Taken from - http://www.sol.com.au/kor/4_01.htm {As more light is thrown upon the gnostic (mystic) Christian sects and their so-called heretical scriptures such as the Nag Hammadi library and the Dead Sea Scrolls, we see that Christ did in fact confirm the then popular ideas of Karma, reincarnation, self-realisation and the Divine Feminine (Holy Ghost/Mother Mary) as reality.}
Guest guest
Even the Matrix trilogy (you know the movies) deal with the similarities between Gnostic christianity and Hinduism. A lot of Christians who have near-death experiences, end up believing in these ideas of karma, and reincarnation. www.near-death.com is a site which collects various people's near-death experiences.
