Guest guest Posted July 8, 2004 Report Share Posted July 8, 2004 i was reading a book called the da vinci code where the author bases his story on a secret that when known with proof can shake the very foudation of christianity. the true story of the HOLY GRAIL. as we all know the Holy Grail is supposed to be the cup in which jesus drank for the last time. but here the author takes the refrence from many sources like the dead sea scrolls and the paintings of leonardo da vinci to tell that the holy grail in actuality is Mary Magaldene...the prostitute in the bible who actually was the lawful wedded wife of jesus!! who even gave birth to his child ... a daughter sarah!! in support he quotes the dead sea scrolls which describe the romance of mary and jesus and of numerable books of apostles suppresed by the church as they tell the true story of mary. there are a cult of people who believe the story...prominently da vinci and isaac newton!!! in each of his paintings da vinci in one form or the other has shown the sacred goddess in one aspect or the the other. in the painting of the last supper by da vinci...where jesus should be there with 12 men disciples...da vinci painted jesus...11 men and 1 woman!!! a woman wearing exatly the opposite coloured clothes as that of jesus. the church fearing mother worship cult from the true stroy is said to have suppressed bits of the bible and made mary a prostitute in story to take away the aura from her. the Holy Grail...is said to be the tomb of mary...carrying with it documents powerful enough to prove this claim....its location...known only to a few. You search for the holy grail committing good deeds (getting good karma) along the way. And then the truely pure of heart will find/attain the Holy Grail. Theres always been a Holy Grail of some sort or another in European belief even before the arrival of Christianity. i think the story of the grail containing the blood of christ is just a Chistian veneer to an older belief.
