Bhakti-yoga:The Ultimate Goal

I offer my respectful obeisances unto the great acharyas to whom this article is dedicated.

I offer this article to Srila Narada and his associate,Parvata Muni, to whom I`m indebted. I maybe likened to that hunter,Mrgari. This killer of animals in the forest met Srila Narada. But instead of turning his ire on the great sage for putting the dead animals he killed back to life, Mragai became a great devotee of the Hare Krsna Maha Mantra: Hare Krsna Hare Krsna Krsna Krsna Hare Hare/Hare Rama Hare Rama Rama Rama Hare Hare.

As what Sri Krsna Chaitanya Mahaprabhu told us in that story,

Srila Narada is akin to a Touchstone, a gem which can turn any metal to gold.

Similarly, His Divine Grace, A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupad whose books, Srimad Bhagavatam and Bhagavad-gita As It Is, he translated from sanskrit to english, if read sincerely by anyone whose interested in the science of going home, Back to Godhead, would in the end, from being a skeptic become a great follower of the Hare Krsna consciousness movement.

Indeed there`s no other way, no other way to be liberated in this life but to chant and spread the great pastimes of no other than the Supreme Lord Govinda Krsna. He who follow this great science described as Bhaktiyoga is eligible to see the Lord Himself,Syamasundara Vamanadeva, face to face in this very life.

That`s the ultimate goal: To see that naughty Boy with His flute playing with His brother, Balarama, in the verdant forest of Vrndavan. Together with Their cowherd friends, from morning till sundown, they conduct their games; teasing the damsels of Vrajabhumi as well as systematically slaying the demon followers of Kamsa himself.

Who could ever forget these pastimes of our Lord Hari? When the very remembrance of them send us back in time to that place called Goloka Vrndavan.
