Guest guest
and the vimanas, could they be UFO's? Could the gods that descend to Earth and communicate with people actually be aliens? Is it possible that Krishna was an alien? Supposedly, he protected Parikshit while in the womb, during an atomic explosion. Does anyone believe this? Are the vedic shastras used as weapons really just advanced technological weaponry?
Guest guest
Does anyone believe there was nuclear warfare back in the days of Ramayana and Mahabharata? I'm sorry, I got carried away with saying Krishna was an alien, although I did read somewhere that a lot of the descriptions of gods coming down to Earth and conversing with humans could have been extraterrestrials. I think I read somewhere else that the Matsya avatara comes at the end of each manvantara to wipe clean the slate of mankind. So we have stories of Noah's Ark, Manu and Matsya, etc. Is this right? So maybe after everytime man brings about his own destruction with the advent of the atomic bomb, God himself comes down and causes a flood to wipe away the slate of mankind and mankind has to start again? Were Krishna and Rama really gods, though? I mean, I know the Mahabharata and Ramayana talk of them as gods, but isn't it possible that their descriptions of divinity are merely to convey the awe in which they wielded their power? Is the brahmastra that Ashwatthama uses in the Mahabharata really just an advanced technological weapon and not a mantra?
Guest guest
There's this website that talks about nuclear warfare in ancient India, and they talk about a war between the Rama Empire and Atlantis, in which Atlantis ultimately gets wiped out. If this were true, how could Rama be a god? He may have been a very powerful man, but if he were God, wouldn't he be able to protect his empire? Of course, this is supposition from the website, and I don't know of any texts that point to a battle between Atlantis and Rama. This is the passage: "If we accept the Lemurian Fellowship stories as fact, then Atlantis wanted to waste no more time with the Priest-Kings of Rama and their mental tricks. In terrifying revenge, they utterly destroyed the Rama Empire, leaving no country even to pay tribute to them. The areas around the cities of Harappa and Mohenjo-Daro have also been desolated in the past, though agriculture takes place to a limited extent in the vicinity today.
