learning to speak/read sanskrit

I would like to learn to speak and read Sanskrit and live in New York City. Am looking for a referral to a teacher. Any help would be greatly welcomed! thanks!

i study sanskrit at the sivananda yoga center on w 24th st between 7th and 8th ave. a new sanskrit class is starting this saturday jan 17 call them or stop by my name is ray. the number to sivanada center is 212-255-4560========lessons are about 10 bucks each. teacher is from india
