Hello there all you Sanskrit-lovers!

I have searched the intire "net" I think...bought a book...with hindi and Udru phrases...but...cant find the word whiplash!

So...why...again...my first tatto ARE going to bee in Hindi...because I just love "letters". And think Hindi is one of the worlds most beautiful languages/letters.

So..if anyone knows this word...please reply here!!

Hi,

If you are referring to the whiplash one would get when involved in a car accident then the nearest word would be

"Jhatka" .

If you are referring to being whipped (as in Islamic punishement) then the word "Whip" is "Koda" Ko as in Co(ke)

and da as in Da(rwin). I am not very sure about Whiplash though but marks of whipping on ones back would be "koday"

Cheers

Vish

Maybee I was a bit dizzy when I wrote...of course I mean Whiplash as in caraccident injury.

I have one..and now my first tattoo shall be Whiplash in Hindi back in the neck...

I have found "It hurts here" in hindi..but it was to long...my neck is not so big....hihi.

So...this "Jhatka" you said....how do I spell it with the hindiletters???

Tanx again.
