Haribol,

Its a fast till midday today !

Srila Prabhupada showed people across the world how to live properly, and today is the anniversary of Srila Prabhupada showing us how to die - without fear.

My eternal gratitude to Srila Prabhupada for changing my (and many millions of others) life.

Haribol

Mark

Hare Krishna!

All glories to Srila Prabhupada! I offer my humble obeisance unto him!

I share the same feelings as bhakta Mark. I feel indebted eternally to Srila Prabhupada and the way he showed people how to live and how to leave the body!

Haribol!

Srila Prabhupada Disappearance Day

Jai Prabhupada.

I have an humble suggestion for the GBC of ISKCON.

Srila Prabhupada left his mortal body on November 14, 1977 in Vrindavan.

Why not celebrate his Disappearance Day on November 14 every year? I know that other ISKCON festivals are celebrated on a tithi, but an exception can be made in case of the Disappearance Day of Srila Prabhupada.

Let me give an example: The Ramakrishna Order celebrates the birth days of Sri Ramakrishna, His Divine Consort Holy Mother Sri Sarada Devi, Swami Vivekananda, Sri Krishna, etc. on on the days according to Bengali calendar, but the Disppearace Day of Swami Vivekananda is celebrated on July 4 every yeear -- the date (according to the calander of Christ) on which he left his mortal body.

Yours in Sri Sri Radha Krishna,

Girish
