Guest guest Report post Posted September 8, 2004 hi i live in america and there is no hare krishna guru's where i live and my dad and me want a personal guru that might teach us the ways of the hare krishna. any gurus that anyone knows that can be our personal guru? we would be willing to pay if you wish. thank you hare krishna. bhaktachris 0 Report post Posted September 8, 2004 Associate with Prabhupada, hear from him, learn from him, and cleanse your heart. Then after that you can pray for a initiation guru, but the main thing is to hear from the Founder/Acharya of Iskcon first and foremost. Do not let anyone tell you that you can not associate with Prabhupada! He is the main teaching guru of Iskcon still today. The initiation guru is also there, but after Prabhupada only.
