Guest guest Report post Posted January 24, 2004 I just stumbled upon this site, and it seems very interesting. But i am a little confused, who is hare krishna. I assumed hindus worship nature gods only and not people (because I am assuming hare krisna is a real person), hinduism is more similar to tribal practices like native american trditions, but this hare krihsna group is more like Christianity to me, in that thye worship the son of God?? Can somone please provide an explanation.

Guest guest Report post Posted January 24, 2004 Hare Krishna. very nice questions. your assumption is accurate, but to a certain limit. Hare Krishna refers to this: Krishna is the Supreme Personality of Godhead, God. Hare is the internal potency of Lord Krishna; Hare is also referred to as Radha. This movement is established to awaken the dormant consciousness in all--that is, the goal of life is to discover who you are, to find the distinction between you and the body you are in, and to develop God consciousness, or Krishna consciousness. WE have gathered the pollution of material life and conditions since time immemorial, that we have practically forgot our true, eternal relationship with Krishna, and we have forgot Krishna as well. If you have more questions, feel free to ask. Hare Krishna also, my e-mail is: Krishna_Bhakta@msn.com
