Srila Narayana Maharaja's English edition of Sri Rupa Gosvami's Sri Upadesamrta has been printed in New Delhi, India. In anticipation of the book's wide appeal, the first printing run comprises twenty thousand copies. This new edition includes the commentaries of Sri Radha-ramana Gosvami, Sri Bhaktivinoda Thakura and Sri Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Gosvami Prabhupada. It nicely compliments the highly popular Nectar of Instruction published by the Bhaktivedanta Book Trust. Each verse is accompanied by the original Devanagari as well as comprehensive word-for-word definitions. The insertion of a thorough glossary facilitates comprehension of the material even to those completely unfamiliar with Gaudiya Vaisnava philosophy.

Also included is a reference page and a verse index for easy reference to the many important verses presented in the commentaries. The attractive four colour cover carries a picture of the Deity of Sri Rupa Gosvami situated in Sri Rupa-Sanatana Gaudiya Matha, Srila Narayana Maharaja's temple in Vrndavana. Inside the book is an astonishingly beautiful photograph of Srila Narayana Maharaja offering benediction to the fortunate readers of Sri Upadesamrta. Copies of the book will gradually be making their way to Western countries as devotees carry them when returning from India. In the meantime, the entire book is available to download in PDF format from the newly updated News section of Gaudiya Vedanta Publication's web site, The Hare Krishna Tradition, which is found at:
