George Harrison L.A. Tribute

Dear Prabhus,

 

A nectarean tribute to George Harrison was given Sunday night, December 2, 2001, in the L.A. temple. The night started with never before seen photos of George Harrison with the devotees projected on the screen. Then Svavasa prabhu read the letter Srila Prabhupada wrote to George about his service and Krsna Consciousness. Following this, Shyamasundar prabhu read his tribute to George reflecting on their times together ending with a song written and perfomred by George. Mukunda Goswami then spoke by way of video about his involvement with George and the Beatles as well as thier involvement with Srila Prabhupada.

 

The evening ended with Gurudas telling his anecdotes about George and his glories. A very inspiring evening to be sure.
