Terms of settlement in the BBTI v Kary case provided for a liberal licensing arrangement in which the pre-1978 editions of the works of His Divine Grace A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada may be published in markets where they won't directly compete with distribution by the BBT and by ISKCON Temples. This announcement is to inform all interested parties that the company (Licensee) authorized in that settlement was officially formed on January 25, 1999, as KRISHNA BOOKS INC, a California Nonprofit Religious Corporation.

 

The initial Board of Directors is composed of the following six individuals: Diane Marie Chan (Das Dasanudas Das Dasi), Chan Hoe Beng (Bhima Das), William Ehrlichman (Bhagavan Das), Joseph Fedorowsky (Gupta Das), Hans Kary (Hansadutta Das) and Veda Guhya Das.
