Is Uccista Ganapati upasana evil??

I heard about the existence of a tantric form of ganapati called uccista ganapati. Now being a part of vamachara or vamamarga aspect of worship can it be used as a form of black magic on people. Also can somebody clarify so as to what exactly is the purpose of worshipping the uccista form of ganapati and how does one go about it??? I came to hear sabotage this form when i heard that tantrics worship this form of ganapati. Would like some clarification on the matter.
