Dear All:

Here is a little story I wish to share; one that literally brought a tear to my

eye.

My back porch has been swarming with flies...it's like Amityville at my house. I

have been tolerant and kind. Yet too I have one of two mosquitos who buzz in my

ear around 4am. I have crawled under my covers, and they still find their way in

with their high pitched...tzbzzzzz. I awake with the tops of my feet and toes

bitten. Ok fine, you've made your point I say...scratch, scrath, scrath, as I

groggeling become mindful of Shakti.

But today...a bee came buzzing inside. She got caught behind my blinds, and so

trying to be a good mom to my dogs, I opened the blinds to shoo out the bee. But

as I raised my arms to do so I comtemplated swatting it vs rescuing it. (I

actually stood there and pictured how I just might do this and glanced around

the room to see what I could use to either capture it or swat it). I was

teetering in the direction of shooing it, as when I gave thought to capturing

it, I feared being stung. Just as I raised my arms to pull on the blind's cord,

out flew the bee which stung me on the underside of my left arm near my elbow.

Geez!, I yelled. Eee-ouch! I wasn't really going to kill you Ms bee.

Out of reflex I swatted at it to remove it from my arm and it plopped onto the

floor. I picked it up in a tissue and thinking it dead (after all her stinger

was in my arm), I flushed it down the toilet. But the bee would not

flush...twice I tried (that's a lot of wasted water used in my efforts)...and on

the third try, I had a feeling of guilt. I thought of the Propalis toothpaste I

am using, and the bees needed to pollenate and beautify this world; of Chrism

video and him being a bee keeper, and how Shaz just lovezzz bees. :)

And as I looked down, with tears in my eyes and my arm throbbing, I

said... " you've got to bee kidding me. " That darn bee had managed to change into

her stripped one piece swim suit and goggles and was doing water aerobics.

And so thinking quickly, I washed out my morning cup of tea, and replaced it

with a cup of bee. I stepped outside through the black cloud of flies(lol), and

dumped out the cup o bee tea into my flower bed. I imagine she will die since

she gave up her stinger for todays lesson on to bee or not to bee.

Love:

Danielle
