Breathing experiments while meditating

A little while ago I found myself doing a special type of breathing excercise.

As I exhale I focus on my solar plex (power center) and push out energy to each

and every cell. It energizes my whole body.

I could only do it for a short time as I start feeling a band of tightness

across my solar plexes from rib to rib.

I use this while I heal to push energy through my hand chakras.

Has anybody done this? Is there something I should know as I continue to do

this?

Blessings,

Ernie

Yes Hello and welcome back Ernie! You are forcing the issue in order to commit

to heal others. You are ego manifesting in order to achieve a desired result and

in continuously doing this you may develop a level of over stimulation upon the

third chakra.

(Power center?)

As you are only focusing on one chakra, that one chakra, in addition to the

others, may experience a level of unbalance that can lead one into areas of

extreme power or energetic disruption. The tightness you feel across the chest

is the body responding to this practice of " Pushing. "

If you wish to go this route then I would suggest that you go the full Chi Gung

route and do the same with chakras one through five. - Just my thoughts on the

matter. - blessings Ernie! - chrism

Hello Chrism,

Glad to be back.

Thanks for your comments...I hold them in the highest regard.

I think I will stop with that type of breathing excercise as I am forcing the

issue.

Power Center...just a phrase I heard to describe the solar plexus'.

Thanks and Blessings,

Ernie
