Guest guest Report post Posted May 1, 2010 Yesterday I babysat four kids aged 4, 3, 2 and 7 months as a favor to some out-of-town friends. I held the baby non-stop for two hours (having long since given away all baby accessories), and when I finally handed her back to her mother (asleep), my heart hurt quite badly! I don't think I'm pining for more children, but I wonder why holding her at my chest for two hours should have caused my heart to physically hurt so. Guest guest Report post Posted May 1, 2010 Carolyn, I've experienced heart chakra pains, too, and I think they had to do with clearing out old blockages. Babies are pure, open, still connected to the spirit world. I imagine holding her to your heart opened you up and helped clear out old stuff you don't need anymore. Babypat. How blessed you are!
