Dear all,

Two things happened yesterday. First, I was driving down the street and some

youngish guy was standing by the side of the road with his dog with a sign

saying he was traveling, broke, and needed $ for food. Usually, my cynical self

passes by. i think, hes just a meth addict looking for a fix (I grew up in

Detroit and lived in the city & grew to be suspicious). After passing him, I

felt uncomfortable, aware that giving him a little money I could do. Frankly, I

was more concerned about the dog but did a turn around and pulled out some

money. I felt some opening in my heart.

Later, I met this guy about helping me set up a website for my business. While

at this restaurant, I saw a guy sitting across the room I hadn't seen in a

while. He is kundalini activated and tends to be full of ego and pessism. He

has been wanting to leave here for five years as its toxic to him but has

stayed. About a year ago, in my intense fear, I had talked to him & gotten some

suggestions re: my K. He came across as an authority & I got mad. I called him

later to apologize for the way I communicated but never heard from him. He came

up and acknowledged my call & said 'we're good. " after seeing the website guy,

I went over and talked to him before leaving and again he exuded negativity and

ego. When I left, I felt sick and I had an energetic infusion and pressure in

my heart/thymus area & heat. Today I feel hungover. I don't know how to

understand what K is communicating with me. Any suggestions on growing this?

Love and blessings,

Jan

This reminds me of an ex-friend of mine. She has a huge ego, claimed to have

experienced a K awakening, then brushed it off as nothing. I would

experience anger as she continued to dismiss what I was experiencing and

then make her own stuff up. She eventually removed herself from us and I now

feel more compassion then anger.

Anyways, after being around those that are packing so much " stuff " I will

sometimes feel hungover and sick as you stated. It occurs when I haven't

placed a shield up between myself and the person I am interacting with.

When I get caught in the hangover I work on pushing their stuff out with

positive affirmations and visualizations.

It is hardest to remember to put up a shield when I am around someone I

like. But they have their stuff too and after many hangovers I put them up

regardless. And it feels just like a hangover (had a few normal hangovers in

my youth).

Not sure if yours is the same, but just my two cents worth.

Jan,

You are empathic. How you felt after spending time with his negativity is how

he feels all the time, even if he is not fully aware of it.

Forgive him for being negative. Send him gratitude for teaching you this lesson

(brought to you by Shakti through him). Send him love and compassion and ask

that Shakti may fill him with loving radiance.

Do not dwell upon his negativity in your thoughts or attention unless you want

to re-experience them. Continue to cultivate your own inner joy.

You can send him love and radiance without yourself becoming entangled in his

energies or states of mind if " you " do not send it but instead ask Shakti to

send it through you. This way you can be filled with love, yet remain detached.

Love,

David

Thanks David,

Your response was very helpful and really resonated. I particularly liked the

last part about asking Shakti to send love through me.

Thanks Carla,

Yea, I forget to do that when I have an unexpected encounter but I can start

practicing putting up the protective shield at any point. I like your idea of

affirmations and visualizations to push it out.

Love,

Jan

First of all Jan these lessons for you are about listening to the Kundalini

within you. Hearing that voice as a feeling and responding to that feeling. Nice

going! Yes with the man and the money you did well as you heard (felt) and

RESPONDED to the instruction.

With the man in the cafe you received an instruction about the effects of having

a very inwardly and outwardly hurtful expression and avoidance of response to

the Kundalini. This man was a teaching example for you on what happens if you

are in resistance to the Kundalini and how the many areas of resistance can

bring about a painful life.

The man didnt have the safeties and at this point will not be able to receive

them unless they come to him through his own efforts.

This would e a clear communication about the effects of ego and a hurtful frame

of mind or negative expressive option being taken in the Kundalini. As I write

this I am having doubts about the veracity of his claim to Kundalini.

In regards to the pain this is the " feeling " of contrast between that which you

are and that which he is. He probably felt very good as he had a taste of your

Kundalini which may have even been as a healing for him. These energetics will

release Jan. That you had a taste of his energy can be a very clear message for

you on where you do not want to go.

Just remember that you are you and that when you feel the energetics of another

that you bring your love into its highest expression. That you forgive the

energetic incursions that will sometimes come to you in the public areas.

Similarly for the excellent work that you do. Make those separations and embrace

the realizations that come with even the most spurious of contacts with others.

- blessings to you Jan! - chrism
