Yes the search for " something more " An intangible yearning for a

state of being that can place a person into an expression of oneness

and outside of the known parameters of life yet not discarding those

parameters.

Many ways have been explored.

Entheogins are the groups of what Shamans in South America

call " Light Bearing Plants " because they can put a person into the

realms of light and enlightenment or " in light in meant " .

Very similar to LSD yet with the understandings and guidance of the

spirit in the plant itself. The plant is understood as being a

conscious and intelligent presence. This presence is what guides the

traveler. Ayahuasca is this way.

Many of these substances are not legal in the USA and so I will not

encourage people to break the law. But let it be known they are

legal in many places and I myself have tried Ayahuasca. My Kundalini

was already awakened but it was an interesting and informative

journey showing me that yes indeed under safe scenarios this is a

great and wonderful teacher.

These entheogenic paths are referred to as being " The Short Path " in

that the person doesn't have to learn how to change the body

chemistry as you say Don, or how to condition the five main life

expressions. You in some way ingest the plant and the journey

begins. And it is typically a more than once experience.

Like your experiences Don when done with a transcendent mindset it

can take you far. Yet even with the ingestion of the legendary SOMA

it all comes back to being in the body and working and learning from

the energies of the Human system. LSD, Ayahuasca, marijuana, peyote,

SOMA, mushrooms, Syrian rue, and all of the others and it's a long

list, all bring one back, in my opinion, to the Kundalini. Just

different paths of getting there.

And with different paths come different conditionings or none at

all. The recreational path is only valid if there are other factors

such as Karma or a way of introducing the transcendent state there

by placing the person on " the path " .

Too much are people in this society addicted to leaving their body

for enjoyment and many choose these plants for that very purpose.

There can be severe consequences when using them and I do not

recommend it at all partly because it isn't necessary and partly

because of the danger and trauma that can be experienced.

Datura for instance can just wipe out your ability to speak a

language. The language you have known since a child is now

completely gone and you get to start from the beginning. This in

addition to not being able to make common associations with objects

and emotions a real scrambling of the mental and emotional processes

can occur. I have seen this first hand on a fifteen year old boy.

Jimson weed same thing.

So yes we search and we try to achieve these states of being but the

short path can have steep and horrid consequences. And Kundalini can

be hard enough let me tell you! Even worse if you don't know what it

is!!

So yes it is clear to me that you are indeed approaching and you are

being lead to approach the Kundalini Don. And yes you may very well

have been here before. Purple is very similar to the color of an

expressing sixth chakra. Indigo. And this chakra can give one

transcendent experiences. But there are six other chakras beside the

one between your eyebrows. It is the connection via Kundalini that

unites these chakras in a very special way for a permanent and ever

evolving Kundalini enligtening experience.

I feel this is an option for you Don and that you will come to this

place. On your terms and in your good time. -

Well said Chrism. I think the only advantage of entheogens is that

they show you that there is a path and that you are on it. I don't

think they are a shortcut, only a confirmation.
