This was the waterfall where we were all Shaktipated by and so has very personal memories - there was strict silence and meditation. For me this was extremely emotional, for my whole being and thereafter I went on my way as did the others. I lay down on some flatter rocks further downstream, to the sound of the rushing water, the birds and gentle wind whistling through the leaves - this rushing sound of the Shakti and the memory rests indelibly in my mind. Yes the Shaktipat and the cleansing of the of the lower chakras for reception occurred in this waterfall for each person. A truly auspicious and beautiful event. Guest guest Posted May 19, 2008 Report Share Posted May 19, 2008 Oh, Nick! That was beautiful! I love the sound of waterfalls and this one set me tingling. It also set my spine into activity. First it felt like someone poured ice water down my spine but then I got the most pleasant " thrum-thrum-thrum " going along my whole spine. It went on for as long as I could hear the waterfall. I wanted to lie on that boulder in the sun and close my eyes and just take it in, let it fill me. Thank you for sharing that piece of a very memorable event for all of you who got to go to Ojai! A real live picture of it. I am very grateful for your sharing this, Nick. Yes, Valarie the water was icey cold. It was exhilarating to stand under that for a few seconds. Ha!
