Dear Carol,

 

Hey Sister, I have been thinking of you a lot the last

few days and here you are popping up on my screen!

Thanks for the support. That prayer I said really did

something profound to me, I really said it with all my

heart , totally meaning it and totally willing to make

THE CHANGE.

I have had a pain in my tummy ever since, I think it

must have been something in my solar plexus/sacral

area. Deep and healing.

 

I have not even had a single craving yet, I know it's

early days but I have a very good feeling, I think I

really moved something outdated.

It's like we are computers with these programmes

running in the background and we forget to shut them

down.

We have to find the original programme we began

running right before we began our addictions. Then ,

when we succeed in finding this we can shut it down

through prayer and release.

AND GODS HELP! :-))

 

I sat yesterday in a room full of people smoking, they

did it by the window, but I just sat there with it

right in front of me and didn't even want it, it

seemed so strange to do such a thing!!! hee hee.

Elektra,

I have been trying to send you mail, it is not getting to you? My

computer is doing very strange things lately!!! That is probably why

you were thinking of me, I was sending you esp!! LOL! You asked about

12 step programs-there are many and they are all basically the same.

There are groups for alcohol, drugs, food and sex addicts. Those are

the main ones I am aware of. The 12 steps are a way of learning to

live a spiritual life, I believe, sent directly from God (or your

personal fav for your higher power) for people who before AA, had no

hope at all. I am an AA product, altho I fall sometimes, it saved my

life in SO MANY ways.

 

I am amazed you sat in that room with all those smokers and weren't

inhaling like a madwoman! That is what I usually do! LOL!! I am so

happy for you. I believe once you pray, and mean it, to your God for

release from your addictions, the desire really is removed. I am

doing well too, altho it has only been a few days.
