Guest guest Report post Posted August 29, 2007 Folks, I need to ask you all for one more round of healing energy to help out my husband. He is going through what he describes as the darkest time in his life. He is physically ill (no physician has been able to come up with a diagnose, and his symptoms are getting worse), severely depressed, and his work is going pretty bad, too. Not to mention that there seems to be a cloud of bad luck looming over him--basically, everything he touches breaks apart or turns against him, even though there is no logical reason for this to happen. In fact, I have the distinct impression that obstacles are being created for him in all areas of his life, and it's getting to the point where he's completely overwhelmed. I love him dearly and have done all that is in my power to help him out, but I keep hitting against a wall. His healing is obviously not in my hands. Perhaps getting some energy from other caring and highly spiritual folks might help him out. (It certainly did in the past!) Please consider including him in your prayers and/or service as healers. Depression generally (but most recently amongst older men with high profile careers) is a big issue in Australia, such that vast sums of money are being spent to identify causes and treatments. In fact, I gave my husband a copy of The Secret several months ago, but he just won't watch it. As he puts it, he refuses to get the blame for his miseries. So far, the only treatment that has given him some relief is acupuncture (regular Western medical science has consistently failed him for the last 10 years). He suspended his treatments for six months, though. Finally yesterday he agreed to go back for a new cycle. Guess what--his car got rear-ended as he was on his way. Now he also has a bad back to deal with--on top of everything else! This is just a tiny example of how things have been cascading here. Things around the house keep breaking down at a mind-boggling speed; normal chores have become extremely complicated; his physical symptoms are piling up, and even his work is going from bad to worse. He is completely overwhelmed, and I strongly feel we are up against something I can't work out on my own. I (and Chris) have the hunch he is pre-K. For example, he has the most amazing shamanic journeys, and it just comes so natural to him. He keeps double-guessing his talents, though. Since he is resisting the blessing, his life is getting more and more miserable. Nothing I can say or do will change his mind, though. I have not seen Secret yet, so I can't comment on that. But, I just read Ask and it is Given and I thought it was terrific! It teaches you how to raise your vibration from ANY starting level. Now, use a little bit of reverse psychology on him. Don't buy the book for him or he probably won't read it!
