Hi tara!

As for the Tibetans, I do them once per day. You should do them a maximum

of 21 repetitions, but I've read where several people have had difficulties

spinning 21 times at first. I think it is more important to do them

consistantly every day, than to try to force the quantity.

Congratulations on a good start! :-)

Blessings to you..

Awesome Tara! I'm so excited for you! I think many have trouble with

the spinning at the beginning and you can start with just a few and

work your way up.

Hello Tara,

No need for a liquids fast until you are further along in

the practice. As far as the Tibetans start with six repititions. ie

six spins. Congratulations on coming to a place of alignment! - many

blessings Tara - chrism

Tara, you are doing terrific! Keep up the GREAT work! You are on a roll my dear!

As for the Tibetans, if you can't do all of them to begin with, which it sounds

like you did, then work up to 21 each. The recommended goal is 3 times daily.

Love,

Katherine

my awakening -first steps.

Well last night was the first night of completely reading the safeties.

I had tried previously, but I didn't have the attention span, and it didn't feel

right.

This time, not only was my attention span 'correctly aligned', but every word

rang true, and made perfect sense to me. It was like this was the correct time

for me to begin, like maybe I wouldn't have been truly ready before. It just all

clicked.

I had my 'positive energy' Crystal Journey (reiki) candle lit, just for extra

support.

I slept *so* well. It was amazing, and I woke up bright eyed and bushy tailed

(ummm...not the typical Tara lol), hours before I needed to be up. I was up and

ready for the day, so after Mike left for work, I decided to practice the Five

Tibetans.

Am I supposed to do all 21 spins the first time? I was a little unclear. I think

it said that as a first timer (or maybe it's everyday) I should to each exercise

three times.

I began with the spins, all 21, each time- and although it made me feel a little

dizzy and sick- I found that when I did the spins slowly, it was a little

better.

I feel really good after doing the Tibetans, although I do still feel dizzy.

It's been twenty minutes, is that normal? I'm beginning my liquids fast today. I

haven't had my first glass of water yet, because I still feel a little sick, but

I'm sure that it will pass shortly.

I began praying today. I gave thanks for all the beauty in the world, and asked

blessings of loved ones, and gave thanks for their special attributes, and their

gift in my life.

How am I doing so far?

Any tips or such?

Thank you and God bless you, one and all.

Tara

Thank you so much, Katherine.

It was a little strange working all day without

food, but

I just kept on drinking water, and that kept my stomach feeling a little full.

I'm both hot and cold right now. It feels like I may have a little chill because

I'm wearing shorts and a sleeveless top, but I don't know what the hot comes

from.

When Mike hugged me 'goodnight' tonight, before he went to bed, he commented on

how hot I was. I did walk home from work tonight, and that's about 2/12 or 3

miles. Maybe I over exerted myself while on this fast. I would have planned it

out a little better, you know...to take place during time off or something, but

this just felt like the right time .

Love and warm blessings,

Tara

I'm sure others have answered you by now Tara, but I

thought I'd say that when I began I did each exercise

7 times once a day. And I built up gradually over a

month.

Until I could happily spin like a whirling dervish,

and do yoga stretches no problem.

I think you should work up to, no point straining the

body or else it will seem too much to do.

I'm so happy you are beginning the practise, it really

is wonderful, it has changed my life.

So many things began to unblock.

Also, the forgiveness is so important, forgiving

yourself is perhaps the most difficult thing to do.

So, daily go over anything you can think of to forgive

and keep doing it until you don't think about it

anymore.

There is also the goddess prayer to say....

earth air fire snow,

to the goddess I now go,

Shakti dear i ask of thee,

release the sacred fire in me x3

permenentlyx3

say this 3 times or 6 times or 9 times.

I like to say it in the shower or while working.

Good luck love,

Elektra x x x

Yes Hello Theresa,

Might I suggest you only do the Tibetans for a time.

Slowly allowing the body to acclimate. No rushing and then gradually

add in a fast and more aspects of " the practice " - my suggestion -

blessings and " You go girl! " - chrism

Hello there,

I just started mine yesterday.

I had a dizzy kind of sick feeling from the spins, but no pain.

Sounds like Chrism's advice best fits' to take it slow, and do what you feel

comfortable with, until your body adjusts.

Love and warm blessings,

Tara

Hi Electra,

It is interesting that you use the numbers 3, 6 & 9, as these also

have importance in Chinese esoteric practices, why I don't know. We

obviously have nothing in the Western paradigm attaching any

importance to these numbers, but when I see such things arising from,

seemingly, different cultures I start to wonder.

I think I will also start doing the exercises.

Thank you for inspiring me.

Well I don't know what you mean about Western paradigm, but in

christianity these numbers have lots of meaning especially the number

three.

Some examples:

First, there is much about the trinity in the old and new testaments

which is obvious--Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

There are many things like during Jesus's 3-year ministry, he raise 3

poeple from the dead.

Satan tempted Jesus 3 times.

The transformation of Jesus took place before Peter, James and

John...3 peopel in all.

Peter denied Christ three times.

On Calvary 3 were crucified.

It was at the 3rd hour that Jesus was crucified.

At that time 3 hours of darkness shrouded the earth.

On the 3rd day, like Jonah from the whales's belly, Jesus rose from

the earth. Symbolizing this future Resurrection, the earth irself

rose out of the waters (chaos) on the 3rd Day of Creation.

There is much more of the significence of threes, as well as 6 and 9,

but I will not bore you any longer. LOL!
