Guest guest
This week my kids are off from school so I woke up late but not very late. They ate breakfast and while I was cooking lunch to be eaten later on I felt hyper, very hyper and I was trembling and all my body was vibrating.I felt like I had to eat something and I did but it did not go away until later but it still here just not so strong. Also, right then when I felt hyper I remembered that I forgot to take my hypothyroid medication like I do every morning when I wake up.Imagine how I would have felt when it would have kicked in together with the feeling of hyperactivity.I guess it was a good thing I forgot? to take it.Who said things don't happen for a reason ? Guest guest
Yes, it's amazing the way things *happen* for a reason. Just this afternoon at work, I was attempting to be of service to a potential customer, who was 'just looking'. I kindly let her know that I'd let her browse as much as she pleased-- and that I'd be close by incase she had any questions or needed help. When I told her my name, she repeated it to herself in a 'distant' voice, and said she couldn't believe it. Then repeated my name again, and said she thought she might cry. I asked her if she was feeling alright, and what was wrong. She said something about her sister and surgery, but it was all 'blurred' together in a 'fast' manner, and I wasn't quite able to catch it. I then asked her if her sister is going to have surgery soon. To which she replied, " My sister is dead, but I'm schedualed to have surgery tomorrow, and I know I was meant to find you today. You have just made my day, miss. Now I know that everything will be alright. " Then she explained that her sister was 5 years younger than her, and her name was Tara. " You, of course, are much younger than her. You seem to be in your twenties..maybe twenty-two. " , she stated. I thought about lying about my age, but for some reason I decided it wasn't important. I said " Well actually, I'm thirty-one. I just turned thirty-one a few days ago " She was shocked, and said that her sister died at age thirty-one. I asked her for her name, and she said Beth. I was surprised, and told her that Beth is my mother's name. She looked amazed, and told me that I just made her day, and that now she won't be afraid about the surgery. I gave her my buisness card and wrote my e-mail address on it. I asked her to let me know how she's doing, and she smiled. I love it when I can be 'of use' to someone. I live for that. I used to want to be a counselor, but then I wouldn't be in-touch with the 'regular' people in the world, who maybe can't afford it, or wouldn't have thought of it, or don't have the time. I guess there's a reason why I seem to draw to me, those people who need a shoulder to cry on, or someone to talk to, who will just listen, and tell them everything will be alright, and let them know that I care about them. Ahh..fate. To just 'go with the flow' and wind up wherever the spirit leads me..to be able to see a person in despair transformed into a person filled with love and hope..now that's what I live for...love..I live for love.
