Along these same lines, what make-up companies do not test on animals? I'm

getting used to wearing no makeup, but sometimes the occasion calls for a bit of

make-up on me. And I don't want to be contributing to blinding rabbits for my

eyeshadow or mascara.

I use Dr. Hauschka facial and make up products.

Read the containers on your lotions and shower gels.

That's a good one, Mo -- I hadn't seen that one before. Thanks!

I usually check http://search.caringconsumer.com/.

Also, Almay is a brand that doesn't test that is available almost

everywhere. Maybelline and Cover Girl are no-nos. Most of my makeup is Bare

Escentuals, but I also use Lorac, Anastasia, Smashbox and Almay.

Hi!

Thanks to Donna and Maureen who sent me info on veg friendly make-up and skin

care companies. I've been enjoying reading about them this morning, since I

woke up at 5AM, and had plenty of time to explore. I found out that Dermalogica

is part of Beauty without Cruelty, and is sold at my hair salon, so I am going

to check it out. One of my concerns is the aging of my skin, and their webpage

gives you an option to discuss your primary concerns about your skin. Dr.

Hauschka's skin and hair and body systems look wonderful also, and I was very

attracted to many of his products. So it is time for me to do some detective

work and do some trials and see what I like.

Thank you again!
