This is amazingly good pie crust, and EASY (this from someone who

can't even get the boxed mix pie crusts to work out -- a few of them

contain lard, too). It doesn't even get tough when you fight with it

to get it into the pie pan! :)

 

Never Fail Pie Crust II - from Allrecipes.com

 

4 c flour

2 c butter-flavored shortening

1 tbsp white sugar

1 tsp salt

1/2 c ice water

1 egg

1 tbsp distilled white vinegar

 

Roll out; place in pan; bake 15 minutes on 425 degrees F, then reduce

temp to 350 degrees F until done.
