Guest guest Report post Posted October 30, 2009 Hi my name is Drew. I'm a new vegetarian. So I will be watching quietly most of the time. If someone could recommend a good book on vegetarian nutrition that would be great. Thanks.
Guest guest Report post Posted October 31, 2009 Hi Drew: Welcome to the group - I mostly lurk too. I highly recommend Dr. Fuhrman's nutrient dense, plant based eating plan. He does a very good job of pointing out that it's not just what you DON'T eat, but also what you DO eat that determines your overall health, and that we need to focus on eating high nutrient density whole foods (vegetables, fruits, beans, nuts and seeds). His two main books are: Eat to Live - http://drfuhrman.com/weightloss/why.aspx Eat for Health - http://drfuhrman.com/shop/eat_for_health.aspx I've got both books, and they've totally transformed by eating habits. Here's to our good health, Penne , Drew Hensley <evanhe3 wrote: > > Hi my name is Drew. I'm a new vegetarian. So I will be watching quietly most of the time.
