Guest guest
Gayle, Thanks for the idea for the mock tuna/bean spread! I made a version last night and hubby and I loved it! Kids wouldn't try it, but maybe next time. I used white onion instead of green, and added cilantro, jalapeno, and crumbled nori and it was really good. Guest guest
Great addition ideas, Shelly; i especially like the jalap & crumbled nori. Love to read how others put their own twist on posted recipes... very inspiring. ~ pt ~ " They began now to gather in the small harvest they had, and to fit up their houses and dwellings against winter, being all well recovered in health and strength and had all things in good plenty.... Besides they had about a peck of meal a week to a person, or now since harvest, Indian corn to that proportion.Ê Which made many afterwards write so largely of their plenty here to their friends in England, which were not feigned but true reports. Guest guest
HI Shelly: Glad you liked it... The first time I made it I called a bean spread as I new if I called it mock tuna salad my husband would never touch it. My daughter had tried it but it isn't her favorite and I don't think my son ever tried it. Gayle
