Guest guest Posted December 5, 2004 Report Share Posted December 5, 2004 Fine Herbs Sauce 2 Tbsp. chopped onion 1 Tbsp. chopped parsley 1 bay leaf 1/4 cup water 1 Tbsp. flour of choice (garbanzo or soy flour works well) 2 cups canned tomatoes 1/2 cup vegetable broth or water 1 Tbsp. lemon juice 1/2 tsp. salt Braise the first four ingredients for a few minutes. Add the flour and stir. Whirl the remaining i tems in blender until smooth. Add to the onion mixture and let simmer for 10 minutes. Remove the bay leaf as soon as sauce is flavored to taste.
