Guest guest
Northern Salsa Caliente This sauce can accompnay south-of-the-border dishes such as tortillas and beans. It contains no harmful spices. It is a nice complement to the blandness of avocados, which are often served with Mexican dishes. 4 cups chopped tomatoes, fresh or canned 1 small onion, chopped 2 Tbsp. lemon juice (fresh if possible) 1/2 tsp. salt 1 small clove garlic, pressed 1/2 tsp. cumin 1/2 tsp. paprika, Spanish or domestic Put all ingredients except tomatoes in blender and whiz for just a moment, leaving vegetables till chunky. Taste for salt, as canned tomatoes will probably need less than fresh ones. Add chopped tomatoes. Yields: 1 pint. " I send you love and good dishes --- from my house to yours!
