Hi. I am new to the list, in fact, I am new to knowing anything about eating a

raw food diet. I am still trying to learn about eating a raw food diet, before I

actually start. Any suggestions would be most welcomed! I did the whole vegan

thing for a while, but I wasn't getting enough protein and my muscles were

affected - I have fibromyalgia and the spasms where so bad that I couldn't even

walk, now I can walk, but if I need to walk for more than 5 or 10 minutes, I

have to use my walker/rolator. So, yes, with the inactivity, I have gained quite

a bit of weight. Now that I have told you more than you ever wanted to know ---

I have been having a hard time figuring out how you get enough protein on a raw

food diet, like what foods would help with this. When I was eating a vegan diet,

I could mix and match different foods, but they were of the cooked variety, so I

could use a little help with this. Again, ANY suggestions/help would be MOST

appreciated. I am quite eager to start

on a raw diet, I just want to do it in a healthy way. Thanks, Kessa
