I was wondering if anyone has experienced any detox from changing to

raw? I have been eating raw for a week and my throat is soar, I'm

sluggish? I read somewhere that if you experience signs of detox you

should eat less to let your body rest. Is this true? What is the best

thing to do?

Many people have different opinions on this subject matter. You're right, some

do say rest, eat less.....but IMO and from my experience, that just produces

more cleansing reactions.

I say start an intestinal cleanse. I never suggest to someone that they

should start on living foods without starting an intestinal cleanse at the same

time. The right cleanse, done right, will alleviate most if not all cleansing

reactions and assist in your body dumping a tremendous amount of toxins.

If you don't want to do that add as much minerals to your body as you can.

Use the mineral broth recipe I posted earlier in the week. Take alph-alpha

tablets (high in minerals) and / or drink LOTS of green juice. Make sure you

are getting plenty of water. I used to drink a gallon a day when I first went

raw a few years ago. It sounds like a lot, but it definately wasn't too much!
