Over 120 students participated in program. PAWS shown PETA's 'Compassionate Citizen' CD to 2nd to 5th Standard students and BWC's 'Beauty Without Cruelty' CD to 6th to 8th standard students. The students were amazed to see the CD & even took the autographs our both the volunteers & standing in line for that! PAWS volunteers made dictation in Marathi language & all students enjoyed that! Pony Vaccination Camp in Kalyan: Like last year, PAWS is organizing its 3rd Annual Pony Vaccination Camp in Kalyan this Saturday. These ponies & horses are being used in Horse Carts (Tonga). We are going have small awareness for the Cart Owners. We are giving a small treat of Jaggary & Chana to all the ponies & holding a competition like 'Best looking Ponies, well Groomed ponies'. The winning animals we be awarded & photographed. All the horses & ponies health check-ups will be done by professional Vets & will be vaccinated Serra & Tetanus disease. After all, our entire concept to teach them that ponies are not employed but they are the business partners of the Cart Owners & they are to be treated humanly and respectively.
