Guest guest
If you go to the Cheerios website <http://www.cheerios.com/promotions/challenge/?tqnm=rh2gfcr888582 & o=5335\ 0 & c=CH & p=bRM3mz4D & cl= & cp= & eb= & ci=1 & bq= & r= & lang= & cista=0> and sign up for the Cheerios Challenge..they will email you for once a week for six weeks. You will get some healthy tips but also a $1 off coupon on a box of Cheerios. The coupon I received this week expires on Sept 11 2008, so they give you enough time to accumulate and wait for a sale.My daughter loves to eat Cheerios for a nice vegan snack. Guest guest
When you purchase the organic alternatives to Cheerios and other national brands, you are guaranteeing that you are not feeding your family (or you) genetically modified foods. I have debated with religious friends whether or not a genetically modified potato is kosher, and I think the same question should be posed to vegetarians (though I believe that we will soon begin hearing of health risks associated with GMOs). It's also worth mentioning that Cheerios are a good vegan source of iron. My kids love to snack on them, and I don't mind. They are really low in sugar, have a good supply of iron, and are tasty! I live in CT and living has gotten harder. It comes down to deciding on bills, gas, food, etc..(you all know what I mean) If the health food store has a sale, I will buy, otherwise we make do with what we can get. If you saw the food we were eating, you would all be proud at how much we have changed. I bought a box of old fashioned (LOL) shredded wheat the other day. My girls had never seen it before! They like it.
