Guest guest
Congratulations on the birth of your son! Zander is a charming name. You said that you have not been serious about going raw, and it is commendable that you are starting him on the raw path right from the start-I am wondering if you are raw now? If not, and you are nursing him, then he is consuming exactly the same diet as you are. I don't mean to frighten you, but his bowel habits are not healthy for his little system-he should have a BM after EVERY feeding. If you are not eating raw, may I suggest that you eliminate wheat, eggs, soy, and dairy while you are nursing him? These things pass easily into breast milk and may be causing his constipation. I had a similar experience with my daughter, and when I eliminated these things and went raw myself, she cleared right up and is now a thriving 12 years old-still raw! Good luck with your quest Brenda
Guest guest
Hi Brenda, I agree with you that it's unhealthy for Z to go so long without a having a BM. That's why I joined this board and asked my question. I do not eat a raw diet. Of the foods you suggested I eliminate I only eat soy and wheat. I have been wondering how much my diet effects his elimination and haven't been able to find clear answers. Thanks for yours. Jennifer ~ I make milk.
